ERCP Update

Just sitting on a deck overlooking the Bow River thinking about how lucky I am to have access to such great medical teams.

Dr. M and his squad were finally able to get a stent into my pancreatic duct. It was not an easy procedure as my duodenal tumour was really trying hard to be in the way.

I’m always amazed by the science of these procedures but I’m even more amazed by each member of the team and how efficient and kind they are to their patients.

Now we wait and see how this stent helps me keep infections at bay.

And as for today, I think I’ll chill and reflect upon all that has happened in the last month, it’s been a bit of a whirlwind.

Life is good. That’s where I’m starting…
