For the last five days I have had significant pain as a result of the therapy. Abdominal pain, cramps, dehydration, a persistent cough and the final straw a fever of 38.5c.
We wrapped up our gear (we are veterans of this drill as well) and took off to the Foothills Emerg.
We are now waiting to get checked in to our hotel (best way to stay positive is to think of it as a hotel room with nosy staff) room to prepare for the battery of tests and triage conversation.
I have a few guesses on what it is but don’t want to jump to any conclusions at this point.
Will keep you up to date as I know more.
