Just got a text from my good pal Jeff to wish me happy anniversary. I had to reply ‘what anniversary’ as I wasn’t sure what he was talking about.
He reminded me that It’s my sixth anniversary since I got the terminal diagnosis, a diagnosis that gave me a much shorter timeline of 12-24 months.
A true reminder that we are all connected and in it together. I am grateful for all my friends and specifically for Jeff celebrating an important milestone that I hadn’t clued into yet.
