T’is the Season

For the last few days I have been feeling quite sluggish. My stomach has been unsettled and I’ve had some back pain. My prognosis was that in the chaos of Christmas holidays I hadn’t been doing a great job of getting proper rests.

I still think this was the issue, but last night I began throwing up, in good volume I might add. Almost like I was allergic to Turkey dinner or something? Almost like I wanted to give it back.

And this didn’t seem like one of my normal responses to being too busy. If the lab was open today I would be getting my blood checked to make sure I’m not dealing with blockage. Instead I took a two hour bath and a long nap. Ate some apple sauce and had some toast. I feel pretty good but will be taking the necessary steps to chillax for a day or two, especially since I want to ski on Monday?!?

It is not lost on me that I’ve been feeling incredibly blessed to be able to share another Christmas with my family. Maybe I just need to celebrate a little less.
